My Story
Originally from Scotland of British/Nigerian heritage and now based in the West Midlands, I draw on a lifetime of moving - across landscapes, communities, and emotional terrains. Artworks unfold across multiple viewpoints, inviting navigation, reorientation, and reflection. Rather than offering resolution, they propose rhythm, resonance, and orientation - openings for connection and sensuous contemplation.

Burnt out, suffering from chronic fatigue, recurrent Shingles and post herpetic neuralgia of my face/head I finished my career in the Public Sector. After 6 months of rest I began building up to activities of long steady walking/slow running, being outdoors for many hours, freeing my mind, body and spirit; healing. Whilst this durational activity needs to be adjusted to accommodate my fluctuating wellness, it continues to underpin my creativity and making.

Towards the end of that year I focused on my two passions art and healing, becoming a student again in formal arts education and graduating 2016 with a Masters degree in Fine Art from Birmingham City University. I also ran a Holistic Therapies business Sep 2012 to Mar 2025
