The first in a series of 3 (so far). A development from a line in my poem I Am Not Afraid Of The Dark. The colours, illumination and abstract shapes of the John Piper windows at Coventry Cathedral were the inspiration for my Bright with the Light of Living series. In that cavernous space as the light changed during the day, so the refractions and colours moved through the space, changing the feel of the place. With gestural marks and inclusions, staining the linen with hues and textures that also change as the light around/onto it changes.
